The kalo lo`i (taro pondfields) at Makauwahi Cave Reserve provided the material for poi pounding demonstrations this week at the Reserve for the field trips we hosted for about 50 participants in the Ka`aha Hula `o Halauaola (4th World Conference on Hula) which was held on Kaua`i this week.
